Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Aug 30, 2011 8:37 pm Hi, What order should the bathroom/wc be done..ie waterproofing then villa board then tiling or what??? Re: what order to do bathroom work 2Aug 31, 2011 3:15 pm Well its not like you can do the water proofing after the tiles are done. I think its something along the following lines, For a new house: Frame > rough in > wet area cement sheet > Water proofing > bath in + shower base > vanity/cabinets > tiling > painting > fittings For existing house with old bath room removed: Wet area cement sheet > Water proofing > bath in + shower base > vanity/cabinets > tiling > painting > fittings Re: what order to do bathroom work 3Sep 01, 2011 12:16 pm We're doing an ensuite at the moment on an existing house.
