It will be a tiled shower, 1m x 1m - with curved shower screen. but need to put the infrastructure in now before the villa board and tiling etc. Dont like the little wooden stool type ones, so am thinking of a tiled one..... any suggestions, pictures etc etc.. It might be worth your while to check out information from your local Independent Living Centre if at all possible. http://www.ilcaustralia.org/home/default.asp They would also be able to provide information on Australian Standards for shower seats. For me, I would think that a tiled seat would be slippery and cold, and water would not be able to drain away easily. Sitting in cooling water is really not much fun so I would want to look for other options. Variegated Iām loving the potential versatility and practicality of a bench seat in a shower.
