Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Aug 04, 2011 6:02 pm Hi guys, We have a caroma hand basin on a pedestal and I was under the impression that all the fixtures would be consealed in the pedestal (to make it look nice n neat) but there are 3 or 4 plumbing fixtures which are in eyes view behind the pedestal, PLEASE HELP our supervisor said that's how its done, but when I've researched pics on the net these fixtures can't be seen. NEED HELP PLEASE!! 4Aug 08, 2011 12:00 am Hi Lenny, Pedestals (for the Caroma basins at least, I am unsure of other brands) don't go all the way to the wall, so there is usually about 5cm or so gap between the pedestal and the wall where you would be able to see the plumbing behind it if you were looking at it side on. But if you're not sure that the builder has installed it correctly, definitely give Caroma a call for your own peace of mind.
