Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jul 25, 2011 3:46 pm Hi, I am thinking of getting pressed tin installed as a splashback in the kitchen and bathroom. Has anyone else done this and how successful have they found it? Pictures would be nice to see too!! Re: Pressed Tin (Aluminium) as a Splashback 2Jul 28, 2011 11:07 pm Hi MumofaPrem - I love the look of pressed tin. I friend of mine has it in her Kitchen (federation house) and it looks fantastic. However she does have a stainless steel splashback behind her stove. I am pretty sure they are powder coated so it should be fairly durable, she has'nt had any problems with it so far. Sorry I dont have a pic for you. Goodluck and i would love to see a pic if you decide to go with it.
