Is this a reasonable time period or are they having me on? Also, they have damaged a door frame by chipping and denting it, marked our carpets and have left the re-hung door in the laundry with the edge planed and now exposed to water? is it reasonable to think that I can get them to pay for the carpets to be steam cleaned as they tracked grout dust, sawdust throughout our apartment. Can i withhold part of the last payment to pay for this damage? how should I deal with the practical completion? we still have one last payment to make.
