Re: Blacks or Browns? 22Aug 01, 2011 11:13 am Lot927 Well DH and I are at loggerheads.. we never seem to disagree with colours... he does not like the tile... he wants the browns and the creams as well... I feel for you. The OH and I were that way about basins. He ended up comming round.. or rather giving in Has he found a tile he likes? After the fourth or fith tile shop, it may not be so important anymore. He can't say no without offering an alternative. Im sure you can come up with something, no offence to those who have brown and cream "brown and cream reminds me of my mother's house", or "brown is so depressing", or "it makes our house look like every other house being built at the moment" .... Re: Blacks or Browns? 23Aug 01, 2011 11:47 am suh I didn't choose browns because they are in, brown is a colour I love to look at, it makes me happy and gives a warm feeling. Try not to follow trends too much, follow what you feel inside Same!! The Chocolates and Latte's, makes my home feel warm and cosy! Re: Blacks or Browns? 24Aug 01, 2011 11:53 am I'm not fond of brown and cream, but I love brown and stark white. Why can't you do both I did living/kitchen/dining/powder room/hall leading to beds and entry in light grey tiles and very soft grey walls, black and white furniture; ensuite, bathroom, bar room, laundry in brown tiles and white walls. Bedrooms have milk chocolate coloured carpet, brown bed in our room, white beds in the others, still with the soft grey walls in the bedrooms. Just a thought. |
