My husband and I want to do our bathrooms up to add value when we sell, and want to do most of the work ourselves to save money.
Our house was built in the early 90's, so everything is a bit tired looking or wierd colours, including the shower bases. So we'd thought we replace them with nice white modern ones.
How hard is it to remove a shower base or is this something a tradie needs to do? if so, what tradie?
My husband is a fitter, so he's pretty handy himself. But we just have no idea how to do it. Is it just simply taking an axe to it and it lifts off or more complex?
Then the next question is, how hard is it to install them yourselves? is there somewhere that has a step by step guide on how to do this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
