My ensuite, bathroom and laundry have silastic corner joints (supposedly for expansion) I have never heard of this before. Also we were not consulted regarding the colours available and it was done in a caramel colour which does not go with antique white grout. happy to hear from anyone with similar. Our tiler said it made for a better seal in the corner. They might have done it in our ensuite as well I can't remember and to be honest it's too cold to go look. I was told grout should not be used in corners as it will crack and leak over time due to movement at that point.
