If you drag a file cabinet over them then yes it will scratch but so will matt finish tiles. Matt finish tiles are the worse tiles you can have indoors. They will trap all soils over the years and you will have no way of cleaning them except for calling a professional in. Most of the calls we get for tile cleaning a matt finish tiles. These tiles are made for outdoors only as the rain itself will keep them clean. If they are under cover outside you can hose them off to keep clean but indoors it is all over red rover.
