Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 May 07, 2011 10:34 pm Hi there, We are about to purchase a property in Paradise Point, Gold Coast, and need to renovate both bathrooms. The house is in original condition and the bathrooms have carpet!!! We are purchasing the property as an investment in the short term with the view to move there within the next 5 years. So we don't want to spend too much money as it is an investment property, but want it to be of reasonable quality. Can you tell me how much approximately it will cost to do the renovation? The plumbing can stay the same but both rooms will need to be tiled, have a new vanity, shower, bath and toilet. If you can also recommend a good bathroom renovation company that does a good job at a reasonable price, that would be much appreciated! Re: bathroom renovation in Gold Coast 2May 23, 2011 4:06 pm We've just sourced all our fixtures and fittings from Highgrove Bathrooms Bundall. We got spa bath, double vanity, 1800mm SS drain, toilet and all the taps, mixes, handheld shower, rain head shower etc for about $3K. They also have some tiles although the range is limited but the prices are around $20/sqm. We're doing the reno ourselves so not sure who could do the labour for you.
