I have to sweep it with a hand held brush to clean around each of the pebbles and then I have to spray it with with pressure hose. I have a little section in my garden where I thought this would be a great idea as well and yes, it does take some extra care when sweeping. Dirt and sand and things get caught in between the pebbles. Not sure how this translates to having a similar type of thing on a shower floor but I would imagine it would get pretty scummy in there!
