Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Apr 03, 2011 10:07 pm I have finally decided on tiles, having a neutral cream porcelain on both the walls and floor. I have decided on a square for the floor, thinking it would be easier to manage with a frameless shower. I wanted a rectangular style for the walls but wondered about the pros and cons of which orientation to have them, length wise long or height wise long? I felt that they may make the room seem higher if they are height wise long, but would they make the room look wider if they were width wise larger? Any ideas, the room is quite small at 2.8 x 2.4m thank you Re: rectangular tiles long or wide? 3Apr 04, 2011 9:22 am I think it's really a personal choice on what look you like, I love the vertical look.
