Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 24, 2011 8:01 am Hi All, We have just put down our deposit on our block of land..... and even though we had already picked out and begun the tweaking of our house design, I am starting to get cracking on it now. We have a pretty large ensuite which has 2 open doorways. I want to put frosted & frameless sliding glass doors in. I have found the below doors but the "company" refuses to sell them to public and won't tell me who stocks them (if anyone). Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Does anyone know any company that would have similar items or is able to produce these for sale to the public? I'm after 2 and am in SE burbs of Melbourne. I REALLY need to know now so that I can adjust the framework to be reinforced properly and have struts in the right spot to hang the tracks. (I want them to be on tracks and slide into the middle wall - tracks like the below) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Thanks heaps in advance!!! Chubz Watch out!!! I'm a crazy Scots-Woman!!! Re: Frosted & Frameless Sliding Doors For Ensuite 4Mar 24, 2011 8:53 am I know this isn't as pretty ... but Dorma make this product http://www.spec-net.com.au/press/1205/dorma.htm When I was looking through their supplier list at distributors in Qld, I came across this company and look at the catalogue picture ... while it's not a glass door, the mechanism is what you've pictured above. http://www.bretts.com.au/doorsandwindow ... racks.aspx So I wonder if you can guy the mechanism and then get a glass door made? ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ Re: Frosted & Frameless Sliding Doors For Ensuite 5Mar 24, 2011 8:53 am viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14507 There are some websites in this thread that might help (along with some information) Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Frosted & Frameless Sliding Doors For Ensuite 7Apr 01, 2011 2:10 pm Nope, no good. Anyone know of any businesses in Melbourne that can manufacture this type of product? I REALLY didn't think it would be THIS HARD!!!! Seriously, if they can do it in Europe, why can't we do it? Or more to the point, why won't the silly importer sell it to people when they want it or tell you where you can get them from??? Watch out!!! I'm a crazy Scots-Woman!!! 2 4497 we have a standard size and often we have a lot of variety to choose 0 3576 We are looking for sliding doors which are 5 metres tall.
