In our renovation plans, we had our new downstairs bathroom directly below the existing upstairs one, thinking this would be efficient, save money, etc. These days, is this line of thought valid? If we do build new, will it matter much if the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms are in different parts of the floorplan? Cheers, Mick. I figure drainage would be more important that hot & cold feed lines and could become an issue. But then if you want something a special way for some reason, then $$$ are not a consideration.
