Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Feb 15, 2011 7:34 am Hi everyone! Desperate for some time of advice please. We are "creating" an en-suite in our renovation and because the room is so small, the maximum size tile that the builder will let us choose is 150x 150 so that he can create fall for drainage. Does anyone have any examples of a smaller floor tile that is not going to create a "country" feel - we wanted a really modern look. AND once you have put a small floor tile on the floor - what does that do to the choices for the wall? I am a designing moron really and have no idea...... Re: Tile Choices - Help please! 2Feb 15, 2011 7:50 am Your other choice would be to have the whole floor slant and put a long grate in (about 100mm wide by the length of the room. Not sure about the "country feel" you speak of but you could always have 150mm wide x 300mm high going up the walls. Re: Tile Choices - Help please! 3Feb 15, 2011 10:19 am 150 x 150???? If it's your money paying for the reno, it's YOUR choice... This is why i do so much stuff myself.
