I did our shower glass yesterday with sugar soap as per Michelle saying to use it on tiles. I wish I had used it before. Cleaned them up beautifully. It says to rinse really well though which I did.
Thanks for the tip Michelle.

My skin doesn't take them well (without gloves), plus I don't appreciate the smell. On very smooth surfaces (like shower glass, bath tubs, glossy tiles and the like) I discovered I don't need anything else other than cheap shampoo or the softwash that I already mentioned. I use a bit stronger cloth, like a piece of cotton sheeting, to "scrub" it off. It goes easily. I even managed to soften the "stains" on the matt floor tiles, but it was a bit tougher and I didn't pursue it - will use some of the stuff that Southies reports back as "easy" and "working" (and if that doesn't happen, my last reserves of that bathroom cleaner or will try Aldi's). Re: Removing soap scum build-up 38Feb 18, 2011 1:12 pm Great tips I must say, here are a few we use. For soap scum on tiles you need to scrap off as much as you can first using a painters blade. Than you will need some phosphoric acid mix 50/50 tape up drain hole and apply let sit for 15 minutes than agitate with scour pad and rinse away wear gloves. Glass shower screens we love to use magic cook top glass cleaner works a treat with plenty of elbow grease once you have restored your glass go to bunnings purchase yourself some enduro shield for glass.
