Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jan 05, 2011 8:56 pm hi everyone We are doing an extension which includes a new ensuite bathroom . The tiler is coming tomorrow and i realise im not sure about something. I would like to know if you are meant to tile the area below the vanity in the tiles that are to be used on the floor or do you use the wall tiles? The floor tiles we are laying are called loft mink (30 x 30cm) and are a sort of grey/brown colour. the wall tiles we are using are called fashion white and we are laying them horizontal. They are (40cm x 20cm). The colour of the vanity is laminex mushroom linea (a kind of brown/mushroom colour) and the vanity top is caeserstone (a off white colour with glitter flecks thru it .. tis called white shimmer) so do we go for a contrast strip (will be 15cm high) with the white wall tiles or go with the brownish floor tiles? Thanks so much for reading! cheers nat Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3267 Thanks for the suggestion. The space between shower and sinks was too tight. I agree about the toilet location. So I have tried two other options: The lower one is… 3 6139 the step up is 30mm and wanting it to be flat . how much does the concrete have to be lowered .we plan on removing bath and lenghten shower and adding seat. the old bath… 0 11835 |
