The grouting is usually done before the sealing, but I believe that with porous stone the tiles are often sealed once before laying & then again at the end. This is to stop the water from the grout seeping in the edges & creating 'picture framing'on the tiles. Hopefully this won't happen. Apparently lithofin is excellent. So is aquamix. You definitely want a penetrating type sealer. Be aware that with these products you only get the guarantee if you use an accredited installer.
