Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Sep 21, 2015 1:38 pm So we picked our tiles last week. Lets just say its fifty shades of grey lol and white. After doubting my decisions over and over, (not only tile choice for some of the bathrooms but also where to put them!) I found this cool reece planning tool which helped me to visualise the spaces a bit better. This is our downstairs bathroom. Plan was to tile to ceiling, with feature wall like below. Aim to add some warmth in with wood look basin, mirror and ladder between the vanity and toilet Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ These are the tiles. Floor tile rectified 300 x300, feature same as floor but in 300 x 600, other walls white 300 x 600 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Do you think the first image works well OR, this pic #2 (feature wall carried around the corner) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ OR.. pic #3 don't do full height, do 3/4 in the one tile only. Re: Help me decide how to do our tiles! 2Sep 21, 2015 3:38 pm For what it is worth- I like pic 2 and 3 Re: Help me decide how to do our tiles! 4Sep 21, 2015 8:57 pm I like 2. But 1 is also nice. I'm never sure about dark tiles not going all the way to the ceiling becasue of the contrast between the painted wall and the tile, my attention is drawn to where they stop. You have got me thinking about swapping our dark tiles from the short wall to the long now! It looks good! Re: Help me decide how to do our tiles! 7Sep 24, 2015 11:57 am Pic 2! And thanks, you've helped me clarify what I want Re: Help me decide how to do our tiles! 8Sep 25, 2015 12:41 pm Yep I agree! Rang and changed it today to Pic 2:-) Also picked out all our vanities and tapware yesterday.. It's starting to get real!!
