Re: Shops for bathroom fittings i.e baths, toilets, tapware 7Oct 21, 2010 10:03 pm Hi there I spent hours and hours with our tradelink team. Couldn't recommend them highly enough! There showrooms here aren't as flay as Reeces but their customer service sure as hell makes up for it. They can get most things and their owner builder discount is awesome! K Re: Shops for bathroom fittings i.e baths, toilets, tapware 8Oct 23, 2010 4:54 pm I have found them to be worthwhile. However, you don't need to go there to get prices. Go to your closest display centre and decide what type and brand of fittings / fixtures you want. Then go home and phone them for a price on the same things Re: Shops for bathroom fittings i.e baths, toilets, tapware 9Oct 23, 2010 7:07 pm tjilpi I have found them to be worthwhile. Re: Shops for bathroom fittings i.e baths, toilets, tapware 10Oct 30, 2010 8:42 pm I bought practically everything in one 3.5 hour session at Reece in Heidelberg. Dropped in to Tradelink in North Fitzroy afterwards "just in case" and experienced such terrible service that I vowed never to buy a thing from them. Service wise, I do suspect it's really a case of who you get on the day. Mercifully, my list of criteria (high WELS ratings, lever taps, no mixers) made choosing most items pretty simple. For accessories (rather than plumbing fittings), don't forget Ikea. I noticed the other day that they have some quite nice stuff that appears not too flimsy. e. Re: Shops for bathroom fittings i.e baths, toilets, tapware 12Nov 02, 2010 6:58 pm Hi, Don't forget about the smaller retailers. I've found they are generally cheaper comparing to Reece and Tradelink. Don't expect to see all the stock on the web, you have to walk-in the store. They do custom orders as well.
