Our builder thinks it was a waste of money, and just last week I thought a loo was a loo... What are your experiences? Are soft close toilet seats the bees knees? Kylie Re: Soft close toilet seats 2Oct 06, 2010 1:08 pm I love them! Makes it alot more fun (and not to mention safe!) for little boys who are toilet training .... my little man happily puts the seat and lid down after use as he thinks it's funny watching it close softly. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ Re: Soft close toilet seats 3Oct 06, 2010 5:47 pm We had one in our last house and it was in the ensuite - my husband used to sit and talk to me in the bathroom while im getting ready but the day we installed it he sat and it cracked. Re: Soft close toilet seats 9Oct 06, 2010 11:00 pm Definately worth it. I didn't even know they made toilets without it anymore, at least not when we went toilet shopping a couple of weeks back. Friend of ours had people trying to force them down thinking they were stuffed or something, they had no idea what soft close was Have to make it part of the grand tour then - "never mind the great deck, come check out our soft-closing toilets" LOL!
