Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Ensuite Addition 2Jul 01, 2010 5:58 pm We did a bathroom reno a few years back and when we ripped the tiles off, we could see that villaboard had been nailed directly onto plasterboard. We just re-tiled onto the villaboard. We then created a new shower (previous shower had been a pre-fab one), so we put up new plasterboard, then villaboard, then waterproofed. That way our shower walls matched up with the existing plasterboard/villaboard and we ran the same tiles all over the bathroom. Hope that makes sense!
