Acrylic base, tiled floor with hob, walk-in.... shower screen or tiled wall? Frameless, semi-frameless? Do you have a concrete slab or floorboards on joists? And is there plumbing to be moved, or would you simply be building it where the existing shower is? I'm sure the costs will vary widely, depending on the design and what's already there. Re: How much to install a whole new shower 3Jun 28, 2010 4:13 pm Thankyou for responding to me. It would be just replacing the existing shower that is already there, although the home is only 6 years old the main shower is looking 'Tired' I apologise for the lack of information, I really dont have much of a clue with these things The shower would just have an acrylic base, Just a walk-in-shower. Re: How much to install a whole new shower 4Jun 28, 2010 11:19 pm Hi Im new to this forum so i hope im not breaking the posting rules:) I dont think you would really need a whole new shower to refresh it. I think even just by re-grouting and re-sealing it may freshen it up heaps- otherwise you could go for a re-tile, and re tile it all if you dont like the existingt tiles. for a retile could cost anything from $1500 to $2000 (depending on your shower) and just to regrout it, dont spend any more than $400. Good luck Cheers Re: How much to install a whole new shower 5Jun 29, 2010 4:21 pm flynnie Hi Im new to this forum so i hope im not breaking the posting rules:) I dont think you would really need a whole new shower to refresh it. Anyone had one of these done recently? Not sure if they are straight forward and easy… 0 774 That's a fantastic result! Happy you got it sorted out. cheers Simeon 6 8646 |
