Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jun 14, 2010 6:18 pm Hi. My husband and I are in the process of renovating our bathroom. We bought a free standing classic oval bath which we have now discovered is too big for the space we want it for. The company where we bought the bath does not refund. Any suggestions on where would be the best place to try and sell the bath? We don't really want to sell on Ebay as we paid a fair bit for the bath (i.e $1500) and would like to get the best price possible. Thanks. Re: Where is the best place to sell a new free standing bath 5Jun 18, 2010 7:24 am I find eBay great for buying, but not so good for selling items I want to recover a reasonable value for. I'd be pressing the coy that I bought it from again as a first preference. Good luck. We ended up with a smaller space than originally planned, & have a 1500mm freestanding tub. Alot of $$, & I don't even use the bath, as I prefer showers. Maybe even re-think your decision about a free-standing one.
