I have not got mine, because still in the process of deciding which builder i should go with!!!
I think bidet-seat is a very good choice for modern toilet-suite. Imagine if your fingers/hand is dirty after touching something nasty and smelly, would you just wipe it with paper? ozn Re: Bidets 51Nov 11, 2007 6:00 pm Interesting question!!!!
I always wash my hands before I got to the toilet if I have had my hands in something nasty……garden….chook poo! Even WITH gloves on, still need to wash first! ![]() Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Bidets 53Nov 27, 2007 4:50 pm You guys need a holiday in Japan. Those things are on just about every toilet there is in Tokyo, exept the traditional Japanese ones:)
They are very nice to have and work very well. Most of the ones in Japan I've seen are made by Toto, not a big supplier here in Oz. Great webpage!:) http://www.washlet.com/ Greg Re: Bidets 54Nov 27, 2007 9:01 pm ![]() Imagine if your fingers/hand is dirty after touching something nasty and smelly, would you just wipe it with paper? ozn But, would you just wash it with water? And I wouldn't be putting them in my mouth, but then I don't lick my bottom either, so I don't see the problem with using paper to wipe... Maybe it's cos I have a toddler that is not yet toilet trained - but I think I have had everything possible on my hands! The only way a bidet would be better over paper is if it included a soapy wash. Does a car get washed by sitting it out in the rain? Ray. Water is indeed a detergent, just not a great one. Hot water is a better detergent than cold. A solvent YES, detergent, NO. Ash. Re: Bidets 59Nov 28, 2007 8:56 pm ![]() Does a car get washed by sitting it out in the rain? It would if it wasn't for the fact that rain water contains dirt from dust in the atmosphere. Don't knock it until you've tried it... I've used them in Egypt and then finished with paper and I think they're better than paper alone. Especially after drinking Egyptian water and having to go every 2 hours! Re: Bidets 60Nov 28, 2007 9:05 pm Cflake welcome to the forum! ![]() Drinking the water????? Number 1 rule in travelling (unless in OZ) DON”T drink the water!!!!! Do what I do…..drink lots of alcohol no ice! And that’s come from the doctors mouth! ![]() Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com |
