Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 May 14, 2010 3:12 pm Hi, new to this site... we have colour appointments in a couple of weeks so be trying to come up with a colour scheme... its seems brown is all in at the moment - i do like it but hubby doesnt at all.... so i think we are now looking at grey and white colour scheme which i think will look very fresh (light and dark greys?) but i still can not picture how it will look and the samples i have receieved look very washed out.... any ideas photos or experiences would be helpful... Re: GREY & WHITE COLOUR SCHEME 2May 14, 2010 3:43 pm white and silver (posher sounding than grey! ha ha) grey slate look floors (use vinyl as cheap) look nice in a bathroom, against the white suite you can always add colour with towels. Change them when you want. Grey is the only non colour (so kevin mccloud says) it is the only colour your eye sees as natural or summin. and easy on the eye cos of it. donkey grey carpet is nicer I think than the brown donkey colour...and less showing of white bread crumbs/ cotton..etc white kitchen..well how can you not go wrong. white walls... well they dont offend anyone. so why not grey and white. Marble is grey and white and would be awesome as a splashback. check the photos out here awesome! http://trendsideas.com/ViewArticle.aspx ... 9®ion=1 grey bench, marble splashback. nice ay! Re: GREY & WHITE COLOUR SCHEME 3May 14, 2010 5:35 pm Hey potsville Welcome to the forum. We have greys and whites in our house. Plenty of pics on the blog if you want to have a look see. Re: GREY & WHITE COLOUR SCHEME 5May 14, 2010 11:09 pm We surprised ourselves at our colour appointment this week. They had a grey cabinet in their showroom which looked great, so we went with these for the cabinets in the bathroom. We chose a grey floor tile to match. We'll have glossy white tiles on the walls. Pics don't look that great on the thread, but there is nothing wrong with that colour scheme. Re: GREY & WHITE COLOUR SCHEME 6May 16, 2010 9:06 pm I love this theme!!!! Probably beacuse we have chosen the same - inside and out. Our house only has a frame and roof so no proper pics yet. Outside, we have chosen, Domino Brick, Woodland Grey roof, shale grey garage door and facsias, and a grey render to be determined! Have a look at this thread for my latest internal colours. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=33377&start=0 I am really excited and hoping it will look awesome!! Good luck at your selections!!!
