Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Double Basin Vanity Question 21Jan 21, 2011 9:51 pm Thanks Vanilla, it is one of the forced changes that I am glad that happened and the basin was a bargin price which was even better, and by changing to a single sink we were able to go for 2x2 sets of draws instead of a 1x3 set in the middle so one side for me and one for him. After having no bench space in the previous home I am loving this. When it was just hubby and I - for some reason whenever we are going out, he leaves getting ready until the last minute - usually when its make up time (for me that is ). When we decided on double sink in a previous house - was a blessing from above. Now I tell everyone - go double sink - you wont regret it. I have friends who have never had them and cant see the bonus in them. But I guarantee, once you have had one, you will never go back double sinks that is And now we have 3 girls to watch grow, it will be life over death. With the 7 and 4 y/os fighting over one sink at the moment it is nightmare. Come on renovations. Re: Double Basin Vanity Question 24Jan 29, 2011 2:49 pm Admittedly have never had double sinks so cant promise I would never go back to single if I had double - but - for just me and DH in the house we have no problems whatsoever with one basin in ensuite - if I am putting makeup on (rare) and he wants a shave, clean teeth etc he just goes to main bathroom vanity. This happens so rarely though that it is really not a problem - and I actually like haveing bathroom to myself so I dont want double vanities and him doing his thing while I do mine next to him - I dont really want togetherness to go that far anyway Re: Double Basin Vanity Question 25Aug 30, 2011 3:20 pm Well I Know no one has discussed this topic latelly but we are building at the moment and will have nice double basins in our ensuite.
