Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Apr 28, 2010 2:59 pm Hi everyone, We are new to this renovation journey and are about to start renovating the first of three (gulp!) bathrooms. Our main bathroom is quite large, but the layout just won't accommodation a free-standing bath, even though I love the look of them - the bath will have to go against a wall in the corner and cleaning around it would be a nightmare! Someone mentioned to me that you can get built-in baths that give the appearance of free-standing baths....has anyone heard of these? Cheers! (and expect more posts from me in the future!) Re: Newbie question: Built-in bath that looks free-standing? 2Apr 28, 2010 7:46 pm Are you thinking of the type that have an acrylic skirt around the front of them rather than tiles? Like this one: http://www.lanark.com.au/products/indoo ... jordan.htm I'm sure there are others out there, I just did a quick search of some suppliers that might do them but couldn't find what I'm seeing in my head. Re: Newbie question: Built-in bath that looks free-standing? 4Apr 28, 2010 9:08 pm There is a style called something like the D bath....it has a straight side which goes against the wall and the other side is curved to look freestanding. Not sure where I saw it..maybe Reece?
