Sorry if the subject is confusing...i'm curious, we have an "allowance" with our builder for the installation of "standard" ceramic tiles in our new bathroom. Our existing bathroom has tessellated tiles, so we'd like to match that.
We've found the tiles we like, and they come in "sheets", so it's not as if the tiler has to lay octagonal tiles with diamonds in between, he just lays sheets and grouts them.
The builder seems to think this is a variation, and probably a big one. Does anyone with any tiling experience know if this should be the case?
