Bath to the very right as you walk in - would need a bit of room either side. Shower top right - Just one pane of glass coming down and basically the shower opens into the bath, not cut off. I have seen this slightly differently in a hotel I have stayed at (where you basically walk through the shower to get to the bath at the back of the room). It saves space and the bath doesnt matter if you get it wet when you have a shower. Vanity straight ahead. whoops t the slight right. Two straight lines are supposed to be a towel rail if you can fit it in? I know you can see the toilet from the entry but with limited space... what can you do? If you had a swinging door your first focus when you open thte door would be on the bath and shower. Re: Vote for your favourite layout... 22Apr 21, 2010 8:00 pm This is a better idea Ms Builder-I know what you are describing about the shower. Hey Ms Builder, Thanks heaps for doing the sketch... the only thing is my bathroom is only 1.8m x 2.4m - that means with the bath and vanity placed that we'd be left with 40cm of space to walk through. Tiny bathrooms suck! Re: Vote for your favourite layout... 25Apr 21, 2010 8:15 pm Hey Ikon, sink your bath so it’s a step in and have the shower there as well. Starting with option one Slide the shower down to the bottom, with the shower head on the bottom wall - make it a screenless shower (less cleaning and easier to enter and exit ) - add a small wall to the right if you want some isolation, not too wide to block access. Add the bath where the original shower location was - no problem with overspray etc. Slide the door down as close as you can to the vanity as possible - maybe even a little overlap on the right *might* be OK. Vanity and toilet stay in the same locations. Towel rails might be tight - next to the door or as we have over the bath maybe... Just another option... Re: Vote for your favourite layout... 28Apr 23, 2010 8:35 pm I dont know if this will help or confuss the issue, but I was at a friends bathroom shop and you can buy cnr loo's(cistern sits in the corner) which can help where there is limited space, I will see if I can find a photo. Cheers Lou http://take2-customdesigndownslope.blogspot.com 07-10-09 omg they have cut the block 14-05-10 we finally have the keys Thanks for the suggestion. The space between shower and sinks was too tight. I agree about the toilet location. So I have tried two other options: The lower one is… 3 6141 Possibly both depending on the sizing. Idea of working from the centre is that you dont have a 20mm thin tile at one end and a 400mm at the other end. A quick search on… 3 8419 You never have a fridge against wall as you’ve drawn. The doors can’t open past 90 degrees and it’s difficult and maybe impossible to remove drawers 2 15604 |
