Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 16, 2010 12:53 pm Powder room is 2036x1100mm with a 720mm door, swings inwards. We're trying to work out what would be the best option for wall basin. We originally had the Caroma Compact wall basin (230mm deep) in the design, but I really hate these tiny basins, make hand washing rather cramped. We're trying to balance larger basin against not too large for the 1100mm width of the powder room. Thinking about the Stylus Minuet (300mm deep) or the Caroma Faun (355mm deep). Any advice? I'm guessing that any deeper than the 355mm option would make it too cramped to get past, but would we be better with the 300mm option? I'd love to hear some feedback on what others have done. Re: Powder room advice 2Mar 17, 2010 1:02 am We have got 2100 x 1200. I am having the vanity behind where the door opens, so it is at the opposite end of the room to the toilet, not on the side wall. This way there will be more room to be able to have a recessed vanity sink. Maybe this would work for you, or you may think it is too uch of a squeeze between the door and the toilet. Re: Powder room advice 3Mar 17, 2010 8:10 am Is having an internal sliding door an option? This is what we have.
