Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 16, 2010 7:53 am Sydney water have changed the rebate on changing over full flush WC suites to 4 star rated suites. If you change over your old full flush wc to a 4 star pan and cistern, Sydney Water are paying a rebate of $200. A 4 star plastic cistern and pan go for less than $200 and your plumber should charge you between $120 and $200 in labour. Previously Sydney Water sent their own contractors, but this has now changed. Theres a limit of one per household. BUt most cisterns are more expensive than that. The Sydney water range has the advantage that they are caroma. Re: WC changeover rebate in NSW 3Mar 19, 2010 5:17 pm A pvc cistern and ceramic pan retails for about $150 to $170. A budget ceramic pan and cistern retails for about $230. Add 200 for labour brings you to $430. Subtract $200 and it works out $100 cheaper than sydney water. Sydney Water charges $330 after rebate for a budget suite.
