Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 10, 2010 10:41 pm Hubby and I are starting to plan an extension to our house. Whilst it's a bit hard to describe, we basically want to extend a living area next to our patio and also extend the laundry to include a toilet. We only have 1 toilet in the house at the moment and soon that will become part of the main bathroom. I was talking to a guy at work yesterday who suggested putting a shower in the laundry as well, this pretty much then classifies it as a second bathroom but it's still a part of the laundry. It would be really handy for us to have a shower as we go to the beach, out running etc a lot and it means not traipsing through the house to get to the shower, also means we can dump our clothes straight into the laundry hamper etc. The new dimensions for the laundry would be 4730x2590 taking out 1600x900 for the toilet, it still leaves us with heaps of room. Does anyone have any opinions on this? Has done this previously? Wants to share some pictures? Wants to draw me a picture?
