Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 07, 2010 8:29 pm Hi all, Currently building our house and plumber has been through for his first fix. In all the vanities we are having wall mounted tap sets (bit like a bath) for our basins. We looked at the spacing that they have the taps and spout and it seems excessive (about 290mm centre to centre on the taps). This distance is the same as our bath in our current place, but over a vanity just seems like it would look really weird. Anyone out there got this configuration or able to give us and idea of "standard" distance in use for a vanity. We were thinking more like 200mm c-c of taps. Thanks in advance. HM Re: Wall Tap spacing 2Mar 08, 2010 11:39 am I think by your description that is what we are having done for all our bathroom vanity tapware. Unfortunately I can't get in our house to take a photo and measure what we have, but I have a photo of the display home where we got our idea from. As a guide these are the standard mossaic tiles, for an approximation you could count the tiles across and use that as an indication of distance. Hi all I need a guidance on how far I need to space expansion joints in the concrete driveway and its type (keyway/foam.) Contraction joints are at 3m max for a 125 slab. Thanks 0 10939 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7392 7 5139 |
