Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Feb 08, 2010 9:28 am Hi, I could not find if this has been done already, so please let me know if it has I noticed the Kitchen corner has a similar forum topic which has been really helpful. I was thinking we could try the same for bathrooms! So please show me your bathrooms, I need ideas... Also did you do the same colour scheme in your bathroom as what is in the kitchen? I would show you mine but there is not much to show as yet LOTS OF PHOTOS PLEASE! Re: Show me your bathroom :) 2Feb 08, 2010 11:20 am Hi JJ sorry, don't have photos (ensuite & bathroom vanities currently being built). Our cabinet maker suggested we tie the caeser stone in the kitchen to the ensuite & bathroom benchtops - I liked the idea plus it's a more economical way of buying the caeser stone - the offcuts can be used for other areas, so I'm getting my two bobs worth & having my small 'office' area in caeser as well. I've think I've chosen my colours: big charcoal tiles with white 'brick' tiles - not 100% sure tho have to make up my mind pronto so look forward to seeing bathrooms as well. Jazz Life is like a lolly, suck it and see Re: Show me your bathroom :) 3Feb 08, 2010 11:49 am Here you go viewtopic.php?f=1&t=29047&hilit=bathroom Re: Show me your bathroom :) 4Feb 08, 2010 12:40 pm Jazzie Hi JJ sorry, don't have photos (ensuite & bathroom vanities currently being built). Jazz Hi Jazz, I love caesar stone!! We just could'nt afford it We have gone a laminate bathroom & kitchen. But I can't decide between dark or light benchtops and whether to have the bathroom the same as the kitchen Re: Show me your bathroom :) 5Feb 09, 2010 6:48 am Hi JJ I think a 'fleck' in the laminex bench tops would be less problematic We were advised to get something with a fleck in the caeser stone so we wouldn't see every little speck that fell on the surface (can't see me racing around with a wettex in my spare time tho lol: ) but I guess it's something to consider Dark surface tops could close in an area but you may want the colour for a warm feeling - the lighter colour would make it look more spacious Depends on the look you want I think I've decided on the splashback which is called deep aloe vera - a dirty green which I've seen & love - so having a two pack kitchen (glacier caester stone which has a fleck) - this darker colour will hopefully give it some warmth. Personally, if I chose a dark laminex in the kitchen, I would prefer a light colour in the bathrooms - but then again, I'm still asking a million questions about my own place so don't trust my judgement look forward to hearing what you choose - good luck Jazz Life is like a lolly, suck it and see Hi , I'm currently going through this now within the Whitehorse council which has a similar set of restrictions.
