Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jan 03, 2010 11:06 pm Does anyone have a freestanding bathtub? Is it more expensive than the fixed one? We have our slab in and i noticed the space allocated for the bathtub which is a corner bath in the ensuite is lower than the others. We want to now change out bathtub to a freestanding one? do you think its too late for us to do that? Re: Freestanding bathtub? 2Jan 04, 2010 7:03 am Freestanding baths are dearer to buy but you save on installation as there is no checking into the wall or water-proofing around the perimeter. Marbletrend Industries have a good range Re: Freestanding bathtub? 3Jan 04, 2010 7:37 am Hi there, We have a Marbletrend Merge and you can check it out on our blog. It is a very comfy bath to sit in and easy to clean. It was an upgrade with Henley of around $1300.
