Anybody heard anything (good or bad) about these baths?
I really like the shape of one in their range but they are pricey and would hate to find that they stain or chip or are generally not worth the extra $$$$

If money is no object then yeah, sure, why not (can you fling me a few grand too?), but if you after a nice freestanding bath you can do it much cheaper than that. If you after that solid type, try Victoria & Albert, you should be able to get something maybe around $3 - $4k, They are made from a volcanic limestone and resin combination.
