Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Dec 24, 2009 5:33 pm we are renovating a shed to live in for up to 5 years and Im thinking of making the shower without a screen just a tile edge or maybe a wall dividing the shower and toilet. Does anyone have any piccies of this type of shower/bathroom Re: showers without screens 3Dec 29, 2009 9:08 am Hy there, 5 years in a shed is a long time so im sure you want it just right. My Grandparents had a shower without a screen in their 1950's built place. The shower was quite large though, almost a room of its own off the bathroom. So it could work. Id say have a tiled wall separating to ensure water spray dosen't go everywhere. But maybe its cheaper option to get a shower unit pre built or even stick with the screen? But if money isn't a problem you can do what ever you like yeah. NO EXPECTATIONS, NO DISAPPOINTMENTS! Shower is a double shower open at both ends. We have the whole ensuite tiled from floor to ceiling though and obviosuly the tiles angle back intowards the drainage.
