Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Has anyone used similar bathroom tiles? [PICS] 41Feb 02, 2010 3:15 pm Thanks netadelle I've contacted Italia Ceramics and they have recommended two similar tiles: glazed porcelain is $79.20/m2 silver travertine in a honed or polished $181.50/m2 Very exxy. Now waiting for an email with pics of the tiles. Re: Has anyone used similar bathroom tiles? [PICS] 42Feb 03, 2010 8:32 am Here is the trick - go to Beaumonts and find a similar tile. Charm the sales person somewhat and casually ask if they can give you a trade quote as you are building yourself and would like a large quantity. Take the sample tile and the quote to Italia and they will match it! I got my grey tiles down from $54sqm to $37sqm Re: Has anyone used similar bathroom tiles? Must be mega expensive Re: Has anyone used similar bathroom tiles? [PICS] 51Feb 21, 2010 12:19 pm Nope! Well it's too expensive for my build, but not for travertine iykwim! Here are the details - Marble and Ceramic Corp in Botany (Sydney) http://www.marbleceramiccorp.com.au Travertine is from Iran and was $78m2 plus laying. Honed not filled, semi filled when layed by the tiler. The one the folks picked is the Classico unfilled and honed Light Shade - the first one listed here https://www.marbleceramiccorp.com.au/pr ... n=cat&id=1 Hope it helps gettingthere! Still not in. Don't ask!? Re: Has anyone used similar bathroom tiles? [PICS] 52Feb 21, 2010 6:37 pm Thank you bel! That's still very expensive With 3 bathrooms and a powder room, no way we could afford that price. Would love to know where you got your tiles from and how much they were. Re: Has anyone used similar bathroom tiles?
