Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: White tiles??? 21Jan 17, 2010 2:02 am I once had a very small bathroom which had white floor tiles with white grout. The white grout was a nightmare to keep clean! Too many stark gloss white tiles can make a toilet or bathroom look like a public toilet - in my opinion. I do like white or alabaster (if not overdone) because they can make a small area appear larger, lighter, and cleaner. Both tiles and grout eventually become porous - the time lag depending on the quality of the products - and on what you use to clean them. I think it is money well spent to have them sealed - and repeat the process every few years. There is now a product available called "Enduro Shield" for DIY and professional applications. It protects glass, stainless steel, porcelain, tiles, grout, showerscreens, vehicle windscreens. It reduces cleaning by up to 90% and provides protection against soap scum, chemicals, dirt, grime, salt, and hard-water buildup. It also helps water run-off. It can be applied to new surfaces (10 year guarantee with professional or factory applications) or to old surfaces (3 year guarantee). http://www.enduroshield.com thanks. the above one is white Mat tiles and have gripness so going for this Mat tiles for both indoor and outdoor.
