You will need to cut the 32mm pipe and dig away around the 90mm enough area that you can get a hacksaw on it and be able to move it side to side to cut it. Parts for the repair will need to be, another 2 angled 45 32mm, a 90-32mm reducer a 90mm coupling, a bit of 90mm pipe, some pipe solvent, a 32mm coupling, another bit of 32mm pipe. Re: PVC glue removal 3Nov 13, 2009 2:30 pm I am told that an LPG flame applied to the outside of the fitting will loosen the joint. But need to be careful so as to not damage the fitting. I haven't done this myself so cannot vouche that this actually occurs. A plumber may be able to verify this. cheers Re: PVC glue removal 4Nov 13, 2009 6:37 pm thank you. the project that I am about to undertake is install a toilet bowl "horizontal waste" in the Laundry. the pipe that was in the photo which goes downward into the ground is 110 mm. the pipe that is sticking out of it going upwards is the stinky pipe "ventilation" which goes up through the roof. here is the plan on paper and need your input. thank you again. The vented pipe that is currently there needs to stay, otherwise you wont have the drain vented. When you install the junction, the vent needs to be reconnected Regards Shane Sam There is a much stronger glue than liquid nails. It's called T Rex and will stick your timber to the concrete. Cheers Simeon 1 1554 yep sounds good make the footing bigger to to allow for the pipe in the middle 3 7326 Plumbers 'can be' plumbers, made all the worse by self certification which the building surveyor invariably accepts as proof of compliance!
