Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Oct 18, 2009 6:08 pm Does anyone have any experience with these, advice, prices, where to buy etc? We are renovating our bathroom hopefully in the next couple of months, most likely with ceramic floor tiles in a greyish stone colour, and walls in white ceramic. We like the stone look and feel, so want to bring this into the bathroom theme with feature tiles and possibly a bench top or basin made from stone. Any ideas?? I have a feeling a basin or bench top will be quite pricey, so we may be sticking with the feature tiles for this one (we have stone accessories already). Any images you can share would also be appreciated! Thanks =) Re: Stone tiles/accessories/basins/benchtops in bathroom...? 2Oct 18, 2009 6:11 pm most vanity benchtops can be done using off-cuts. We are doing our kitchen in stone and the offcuts will be unse for the bathrooms and laundry and a few other things. Ask around - you might find someone with plenty of offcuts in a popular colour that will do your vanities cheaper. Re: Stone tiles/accessories/basins/benchtops in bathroom...? 3Oct 18, 2009 6:34 pm This is a Sydney site but you may find they can direct you to a supplier in Victoria. http://www.creationsinstone.com.au/ We have the black Zen basin and there are many more basins on the site. Our basin was bought 2 years ago and it was $950. I have it on a white caesarstone vanity and it looks great. Re: Stone tiles/accessories/basins/benchtops in bathroom...? 4Oct 18, 2009 6:45 pm Thanks guys =) I should have mentioned, we're actually after the rough stone look, not polished like most kitchen benches are... Neverfinished that site looks promising, thanks! Sydney is actually closer to us than Vic so that's not really an issue. I just assumed that as 80% of the people on this forum appear to be in Victoria, then you must be as well. I should have checked out your location before posting. Re: Stone tiles/accessories/basins/benchtops in bathroom...? 6Oct 18, 2009 8:41 pm haha that's ok! I thought maybe you were so geographically challenged that you thought Canberra was further south than it is =P hehe Re: Stone tiles/accessories/basins/benchtops in bathroom...? 7Oct 20, 2009 12:52 pm We got our Nova Deko basin for about $300 http://www.novadeko.com.au/ Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size.
