Re: Any ideas for a feature tile for this shower, please? 3Aug 18, 2009 10:18 am The vertical scored idea looks better but means a lot of grout at a lower level which will be in contact with water. Are you tiling to the ceiling? One option may be a partial vertical panel. Use you scored tile to encompass say you taps and shower head and make sure it is equal distance below and above them. This way you can say start your panel say 400mm off the floor and carry it above the shower head. Works real well if you tap ware and head are all centrally located on the panel - and looking at you pic it may work real well as its even central on that wall. The other way is if you can introduce a nieche in the wall use the scored tile there. Once agian it highlights the nieche and is away from the majority of water. My concern is the cost they will try to charge me IMPO your bathroom can be a real show peice of your home. Its the only place you cant hide poor colour choices with nice furniture, like a nice lounge or rug, so you have to work a bit harder to get it right.
