We are about to renovate the apartment and would like to install a thermostatic shower mixer (which I have successfully installed in the UK) and I've noticed that there's not many suppliers in Oz - you can even buy an integrated wireless remote pump/mixer! - although the one I like is this one. As I'm about to visit the UK in September I'm thinking of buying one there and bringing it back with me - but do thermostatic mixers need to be Wels Rated? Re: Thermostatic Shower Mixer 2Aug 03, 2009 6:48 am Its your outlets that require a WELS rating, so no your mixer is fine (A matching basin mixer will need WELS), however, it may not be water marked for Aust Standards.
