Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jul 06, 2009 8:07 pm G'day all, I'm looking for some pictures of some different style shower baths and hopefully some places to buy them to go with it in the Sydney metro area. So far I've only come across decina which is at Seven Hills that a forum member passed onto me yonks ago, but I'd really like to find some more but haven't succeeded through google searches etc.... I really struggle to come up with ideas such as colour of tiles and styles etc and really like the designs and ideas of others on the forum, so if anyone has some pictures of there style I'd really love to see it and know where you brought it from, to help inspire my bathroom reno I'd like to start next week. Thanks heaps Geoff Re: Shower bath styles 2Jul 06, 2009 8:25 pm You found decina, also try Stylus and Lanark. Basically any bath that has an anti-skid pattern, and is flatter and wider at the shower end will do the job. Possumchops Now the proud owner of 3.7acres of Serenity. Colour selection completed! You may ask if they still make there baths with a steel support frame. This is a metal frame that is fibreglassed to the base and under the upper rim. It makes installation much easier but supports the entire bath eliminating the flex and creeks you can get especially around the outer lip of the bath. They do cost a few dollars more but then elimunate the cost and need to brick up the bath. I'm just not sure which suppliers still do them. Why I'm at it, I don't suppose anyone knows of a place that sells one similar to this but in say 900x900? http://www.decina.com.au/site-2008/baths_azzurro.asp Cheers Re: Shower bath styles 7Jul 08, 2009 1:47 pm i went with a very square lanark design, i never had any slip issues even though it wasn't designed as non slip. Off memory it had extra fiberglass in 3 spots that sat on the ground, didn't notice any major creaks in it, even with 2 people in it. You wouldn't have any pics of you set up would you please? Thanks Geoff You need to reference the manufactures installation guide, your supplier may have strengthened the base where it is not required to sit on a bed. 1 1825 Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included.
