Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jun 19, 2009 6:18 pm I have recently purchased two 400 x 400 wall niches from http://profilesinplaster.com.au/ezyexy_niches.htm and the installation looks quite easy but we've come across a problem... I hope I can explain this well enough without sounding like a duffer lol So we are going to tile it and that is the easy part but when we were putting everything up to see what it would look like we went oh dear...how on earth do we do the corners?! We tried putting two tiles (one on the inside and one on the outside) but it just didn't work, so my dad thought we could use stainless steel (perhaps) framing around the niche because it is virtually impossible (unless someone can tell me how) to tile a corner like that. So that is my problem and I sincerely hope someone can help me out! (If you know where I can buy corner covers please let me know!) Thanks in advance. <3 Re: Bathroom Niche Question (regarding tiling it) 2Jun 20, 2009 10:32 am We have used stainless steel corner edging on our niches and they look really good. You can get these from a tiling shop and cut them to size. I wasn't terribly keen on the idea at first as I wanted the tiles mitred but it was too difficult (apparently) but I am very happy with the look. I hope this is what you mean Re: Bathroom Niche Question (regarding tiling it) 3Jun 20, 2009 12:12 pm You can get rounded edges, like quad, a rounded edge that is longer on one side and a straight edge. They come in the aluminium as well as pvc which you can colour match to your tiles. I like the colour matched ones as they don't stand out as much. The strips, whatever shape, will be at the tile shop, and you sort of slide them in behind the row of tiles on the edge as you are tiling. It's kind of self explanatory once you see them. i would not be signing anything on the day read your contract about when builder submits final invoice generally, have to meet builder within 7 days of receiving final… 1 4744 Hi All, Recently we have signed a contract with Burbank and we are not aware that they have just DORSET, SURREY, HAMPSHIRE, KENT, PILBARA and REDGUM bricks from PGH are… 0 3155 Thank you @.
