We are considering renovating our kitchen & bathroom and with less then a month away from settlement, it been exciting and interesting trying to get quote from different trademan for the different jobs.
- tiling toilet
- replace toilet system
- tiling shower room
- install shower base
- replace shower head
- tiling bathroom
- replace vanity
- install gas upright oven
- install vent for kitchen rangehood
- install new rangehood in opposed to current recycling model
While speaking to my plumber, I was advised to hire a handyman for the demolish and removal of existing fitting so he could get on with what he does best - plumbing and gas-fitting.
I was wondering how much do handyman charge per hour and will it be worthwhile have a go with the demolish work myself? then I suppose there is also a big question mark on garbage collection on the parts?
any help would be much appreciated as we are newbie in home renovation.
