Hi, I've just come across this site today, so this is my first post. Hopefully someone can offer some suggestions with I problem I'm having.
We have recently done some renovations to our house, including the addition of an ensuite adjoining our bedroom. The ensuite is roughly 2.5x1.5 m and has a walk-in tiled shower at one end, which is roughly 0.9x1.5m. We are using 400x400mm tiles for the floor and walls.
We have had some problems with the tile floor of the shower (some ponding, and insufficient fall), which we have asked to be fixed. The tiler has come back and removed the floor tiles in the shower, and in the process, did some damage to one of the wall tiles. This meant he had to pull off the wall tile, which damaged the plaster wall and waterproofing.
The damaged plaster has been replaced, and the tiler has started to seal this section of plaster with a waterproofing product (Dryflex PUMP). I've had a look today, and I'm not confident the waterproofing is going to be effective. There is a big gap at the top of the plaster, and I can see some other small sections of exposed plaster.
The tiler is going to have another go at applying the waterproofing, but I am just wondering if there is any chance of the wall actually being waterproof after this is done. I've attached a couple of pics which will hopefully show the problem.

I'd be grateful for any comments or suggestions.
Cheers
