And even if she doesnt, it would make it feel more "open"... But its up to you Oh, imagine running to the loo and opening the door to have it fly back in your head! Getting a little carried away.... Re: My ensuite design 22Jun 14, 2009 4:29 pm Bam Pfft to "common practice" It's eating space, Hmmm, worth considering. Re: My ensuite design 23Jun 14, 2009 6:28 pm hmm were there reasons for him making that comment on the cav sliders? face sliders i dont like at all however the cavity sliders are great as you dont have to worry about the swinging door creating more usable space. Hmm that comment is interesting. Re: My ensuite design 24Jun 14, 2009 7:48 pm He just said that you don't use the cavity sliders if you can use a normal swing door. I've seen them plenty of times in bathrooms and I thought it would be the better option in a lot of cases. I've seen quite a lot of new homes where they have no doors in the ensuites and WIRs. I don't like that. I want to have everything looking neat and keep them as seperate rooms. Re: My ensuite design 25Jun 17, 2009 3:19 pm Here are some drawings I've done. I'm still playing around with window sizes. Also I need to find the right vanity and make a decision about the cupboard near the toilet. Once that's sorted I have to work out lighting, heating and placement of the exhaust fan. Would you have a seperate fan for the shower and toilet? Great program very well supported and very popular. The best thing is, it is FREE. sketchup.google.com Thanks for the suggestion. The space between shower and sinks was too tight. I agree about the toilet location. So I have tried two other options: The lower one is… 3 6141 the step up is 30mm and wanting it to be flat . how much does the concrete have to be lowered .we plan on removing bath and lenghten shower and adding seat. the old bath… 0 11836 |
