Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 May 04, 2009 4:30 pm We are in the middle of re-doing out bathroom, WC & laundry areas. now, we are on a timber floor, i have pulled up the lino (& Masonite) in the WC & laundry but have left the old tiles in the bathroom & plan to tile straight over the top of them in the not to distant future. just would like your opinions on if i should lay masonite down over the boards before i lay down the floor tiles or can i lay the tiles straight over the boards??? only prob i can see with this is the height difference in the floor between the bathroom & toilet/laundry. maybe use half a tile width on a slight angle?
